Connie Struck, 60, of Windom died May 21, 2014, at Windom Area Hospital after being diagnosed with cancer in March.
Funeral services were Monday at American Lutheran Church in Windom with Pastor Sarah Larsen Tade officiating.
Special music was provided by Linda Ebeling, organist; and Kris Pfeiffer, vocalist.
Casket bearers were Trisha Gilbertson, Brandon Gilbertson, Kris Gates, David Struck, Brian Struck, Brandon Struck, Tyler Ehmke, Jessica Ehmke, Tia Ehmke, Keshia Betcher, Selina Betcher and Jenna Swanson-Betcher.
Honorary bearers were staff of Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom and Dale Eigenberg.
Burial was at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom handled the funeral arrangements.
Connie Jean Gilbertson was born July 14, 1953, to Nordeen James and Betty Jean (Granle) Gilbertson in Austin. She received her education in Hayfield Public Schools, graduating in 1972, and then attended Faribault Technical School.
In 1973, Connie married Dale Marvin Struck at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield. They lived in Windom where they raised their sons: Jeremy, Jared, Josh and Jordan.
A few years after marriage, Connie ran her own day care. She then was the Nursing Services secretary/receptionist for 34 years at Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom. Connie enjoyed her job and especially enjoyed her co-workers and friends.
Connie was a member of American Lutheran Church in Windom and served on the Big Buddies board of directors for six years.
She enjoyed going to garage sales, the Karz-n-Trux Club and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nordeen; and nephew, Jacob Ehmke.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dale Struck of Windom; four sons: Jeremy (Kari) Struck of Brownsdale; Jared Struck of Richmond, Va.; Josh Struck of Windom and Jordan (Amanda) Struck of Eden Prairie; six grandchildren; her mother, Betty Gilbertson of Jackson; three siblings: Ronnie Gilbertson of Hayfield, Donnie (Kathy) Gilbertson of Byron and Bonnie Ehmke of Hayfield; and special friend, Dale Eigenberg of Windom.
