Beverly Farber, 76, of Windom died Jan. 10, 2014, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Services were Tuesday at American Lutheran Church in Windom with Pastor Sarah Larsen Tade officiating.
Special music was provided by Carol Vought, organist; and Mike Foley, vocalist.
Casket bearers were Jim Smedsrud, Justin Bak, Rick Bak, John Eidem, Warren Meinders and Travis Breitkreutz.
Honorary bearers were Beverly's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom handled the funeral arrangements.
Beverly Ann Bak was born Dec. 8, 1937, to Borge and Idell (Swanson) Bak in Montgomery, Iowa. She was baptized at the Lutheran church in Spirit Lake, Iowa, and later confirmed at American Lutheran Church in Windom.
She attended country school in Montgomery, Iowa and Lakefield District 83 before attending Lakefield Public Schools and Windom Public Schools, graduating from Windom High School in 1955.
In 1960, Beverly married Robert LeRoy Farber in Las Vegas, Nev. They lived in California before moving back to Windom. Beverly worked at Mix Bakery in Windom, a supermarket in Anaheim, Calif., and Home for Creative Living in Windom for almost 30 years.
Beverly was a member of American Lutheran Church in Windom.
She will be remembered as the baker in the family and always there to care for people, especially her family.
She enjoyed theater, bike trips with family, family vacations and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1997; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Farber; and a brother, Mike Bak.
Survivors include her five children: Wayne (Juliane) Antes, David Farber and fiance Maria Nelson, and Kresten Farber, all of Windom; Debra (Chad) Blank of Wichita, Kan.; and John (Julie) Farber of Lakefield; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Smedsrud of Windom; three brothers: Ronnie Bak, Tom (Cindy) Bak and Larry Bak, all of Windom; and two sisters-in-law, Vi Bohannon of Yucca Valley, Calif.; and Gladys Jensen of Norman, Okla.
