James LeTourneau, 85, of Windom died Feb. 9, 2013, at Windom Area Hospital.
Memorial services were Saturday at LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom with Rev. Paul Sajban officiating.
Special music was provided by Ruth Wohlfeil, organist; and Rev. Paul Sajban, vocalist.
Honorary bearers were members of American Legion Post 206 of Windom, which also provided military honors following the service.
Burial will be held at a later date at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Windom.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom handled the funeral arrangements.
James P. LeTourneau was born July 10, 1927, to Louis and Joanna (Johannes) LeTourneau in St. James. He received his education from Windom Public Schools, graduating in 1945.
That same year, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until his honorable discharge in 1947.
In 1961, Jim married Joyce Handevidt in Mt. Lake. They lived in Windom where Jim worked many different jobs. He owned and operated the Windom State Theater, worked in the payroll department at The Toro Company, worked at the DX Gas Station and served as custodian at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom.
Jim also owned and operated Windom Monument for over 40 yaers.
Jim was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom. He also was a member of American Legion Post 206, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Knights of Columbus and Eagles Aerie 3891.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael LeTourneau; and a brother, George LeTourneau.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce LeTourneau of Windom; a brother-in-law, Maynard (LaVerne) Handevidt of Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Myrtle LeTourneau of Windom.
