Trevor Donkersloot, infant son of David Donkersloot and Sarah Huls of rural Storden, died Oct. 22, 2012, at Sanford Westbrook Medical Center.
Services were Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeffers with Pastor Cole McCormick officiating.
Special music was provided by Maria Carter, organist.
Casket bearers were Shawn Huls, Kyle Huls, Shaun Donk-ersloot, Nick Denherder and Matt Simpson.
Honorary bearers were Levi Miller, Katrina Miller, Trisha Donkersloot, Kaitlyn Rindfleisch and Sondra Rindfleisch.
Burial was at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Jeffers.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service of Windom handled the funeral arrangements.
Trevor Ray Donkersloot was born July 12, 2012, to Sarah Huls and David Donkersloot in Luverne. He was welcomed home by his siblings: Tyson, Tia and Tara.
He will be remembered for his quick smile, laughter and red hair.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Alyda Donkersloot in 2007; and Ervin and Marlys Piotter.
Survivors include his parents, Sarah Huls and David Donkersloot of rural Storden; three siblings: Tyson, Tia and Tara, all at home in rural Storden; grandparents: Janet Donkersloot and Bobby Boyd of Valley Springs, S.D.; Allen and Deb Donkersloot of Brandon, S.D.; Marty Huls of Jeffers; Janiece Huls and Rod Rindfleisch of Jeffers; great-grandparents: Ray Donkersloot of Brandon, S.D.; Dave and Judy Stroh of Luverne; Ed and Beulah Huls of Jeffers.
