Free flag football clinic is Aug. 9-10
A free flag football clinic will be held in Windom on Aug. 9-10.
Sessions are for boys and girls entering grades 3-6 in the fall.
The clinic will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. both nights.
The goal of the clinic is to develop skills, leadership and character to prepare for the fall's NFL Flag Football program held in Windom.

A trip to Door County
Last week, while walking into a restaurant, I passed people with cameras shooting photos of goats eating grass on the roof.

No news is . . . no news on pairing
By every account I've heard, the spring sports pairing between Mt. Lake, Mt. Lake Christian and Comfrey went very well for the first season.
Were there things that needed to be ironed out? Definitely. I think all parties would agree that getting more games at the Comfrey facilities is important - particularly the baseball field.
