What do you mean the site is insecure?
Due to efforts by many companies, such as Google, Microsoft and others, the web is becoming more and more secure. However, on certain websites, you may see a small warning that says, "This site is not secure," or "Your password will be transmitted unencrypted," both of which are a little vague. What this means is that the site does not have an SSL certificate.

The day the lights went out
It was 11:45 a.m., on Tuesday, and I had just wrapped up a page 2 story when suddenly everything went black.
I saw only darkness on my computer screen, in my office and the area surrounding my office. It was dead quiet for a second and then computer backups started screeching. I heard someone say, "Whoa," but most of us in the Citizen office were stunned.
