Don't make kids choose between sports, graduation
The past two years, the local baseball team has been put in a pretty delicate situation for its first-round playoff game.
You see, the first round of the Section 2A baseball playoffs begin Friday. Friday is also the day when seniors at Mt. Lake Public High School receive their diplomas.

Windows 10 Action Center
One of the many new features of Windows 10 is the Action Center. It is where Windows notifies you about your computer and where you can make quick changes.
Earlier versions of Windows also had something called Action Center, a Control Panel for checking on security and maintenance issues. The Windows 10 Action Center continues with these tasks, but adds a whole new level of options.

A look at investing in a 21st century workforce
Wyoming Machine is making a big difference in Stacy. The company recently brought home the National Association of Workforce Boards' business leadership award for their work developing the local workforce and economy.
In Duluth, thanks to partnerships with local employers, 70 students are graduating Lake Superior College every year with the skills needed to fill high-wage, high-growth jobs around the region.

Walleye lakes dependent on hatching, stocking
Well, the marvelous Minnesota walleye weekend party for this year is behind us. In case you haven't realized it by now, Minnesota is pretty much in love with our openers. Walleye, bass, dove, duck, deer, pheasants, turkeys; they've all become a part of our heritage if hunting and fishing is what you like.
And, that's about half of us.
