The kid comes out - Part I
Anyone who knows me, knows I love everything about Christmas. Needless to say, now that we're a week into December, I'm deep in the wonder and beauty of the season.
Make no mistake, I have not forgotten the Reason for the Season. Indeed, Christ's birth, that incredible Arrival in a stable, wrapped in "swaddling" cloths and placed in a cow's manger, is truly a marvelous and beautiful event. To think that the Savior of the world would come to the world in such lowly fashion, seems so wrong in this day and age, but His Father deemed it that way because he came to save the scoundrel as well as the kingliest of kings.
