Reader helped by a Christmas angel
I was on my way to the Twin Cities last Saturday.
My brother, Roger Anderson, had passed away on Friday. Roger's wife, Mary, became very sick and was hospitalized with acute leukemia and was not expected to live past a week.
As I approached Mt. Lake, my dash on the car was flashing a red light indicating low tire pressure. I decided to pull into the Casey's convenience store to ask for help.

Windom spiritual revival was a blessing for city
Our city of Windom was blessed with a spiritual revival at BARC, Friday and Saturday, by a hometown boy, Pastor Dewey Moede.
Dewey is the son of Wally and Ruth Moede. We thank him for an inspiring ministry and entertainment by people from our community.

Windom Revival was a true blessing for many
I just had to send a note to the Windom area for showing me the love of Jesus.
It was such a blessing to come and take part in the Windom Revival. You have an awesome community that has been super-blessed by God. I am getting daily reports of fruit sprouting from the Revival.
Thanks to all who helped with this years Revival! I also thank Pastor Sarah and the congregation of the American Lutheran Church for showing me so much love.

Student pages get opportunity of lifetime
Applications for the Minnesota House of Representatives 2018 High School Page Program have now been mailed to all area public and private schools.
All high school juniors are eligible to apply. By taking part in this week-long program, pages learn the legislative process and assist members in the House Chamber during session and also develop leadership skills by observing how committees are conducted and how issues are resolved.
