Red Rock Central sees productive meeting regarding facilities
| We appreciated seeing a good crowd at our second community engagement meeting on Monday, March 26. Once again, our dialogue about the future of the Red Rock Central School District was insightful and productive. Wednesday, April 18, 2018

Holmen had right vote | I agree with Charles Grant that we should commend Commissioner Norman Holmen for voting in the interest of the area people by voting for the Windom bypass. Wednesday, April 4, 2018

A few more facts about Easter dates | I found the recent article by Cory Regnier regarding Easter dates to be very interesting. The truth of the matter is that this word, "Easter," (a pagan festival based on fertility rites), was removed from the King James Bible after it was discovered and changed by the translators. In Greek, the word for Passover is Pascha (Acts 12:4). One doesn't have to be Jewish to understand this, either. Wednesday, April 4, 2018

Commissioner Holmen made the right call
| I'm writing this to commend Commissioner (Norm) Holmen for voting for the residents of his district. In response to Trevor Slette's thought that only one person was concerned, I'm willing to guess that many more are certainly hoping something would be done. It's too bad that some of the other commissioners were not willing to support the bypass, or at least find out how other people felt, instead of being concerned only for their little piece of the city. City's ox falls in ditch
| When I read about the Sunday liquor sales decision, I thought of the scripture that says, "The love of money is the root of all evil." It's sad to think, but it is all too common that with government, money is the bottom line. It's why states defy federal law and legalize marijuana. Wednesday, March 28, 2018
