Pool discussion raises question on consistency

Pool discussion raises question on consistency
I do not know why the mayor and one council member are talking out both sides of their mouths.
They say that our pool is just fine for this size town but then are pushing for a new ice arena. There are more people using our pool than use the ice rink.
If the town is too small for a pool, it is too small for a new ice rink. I see a lot of people taking their kids and others to Lakefield and Fairmont to the pool. They like the water slides and the fact that those pools are great for little ones.
Therefore, we need to quit comparing Windom to other towns unless we do it across the board.
