Cardinals rally past Eagle girls

Redwood Valley rallied in the second half Tuesday, surging past the Windom Eagle girls basketball team for a 59-43 victory at Redwood Falls.
The Cardinals forced 18 second-half turnovers, setting the stage for Redwood to outscore the Eagles 38-20 in the second half.
Autumn Hauge led the Eagles with 18 points. Maurissa Isaacs added 14 points.

CMC 26-30 = 56
A late 9-0 run was the boost Cedar Mountain-Comfrey needed Tuesday as the Cougars rallied past Red Rock Central 56-50 at Comfrey.
RRC held a three-point lead at halftime and led most of the second half, but CMC used a 9-0 run with five minutes to go in the game to capture a lead that it wouldn't relinquish.
Vanessa Kedl led RRC with 12 points. Kaitlyn Rindfleisch added 10 points, including eight in the first half.

Hendricks 26-27 = 53
Westbrook-Walnut Grove was ice cold from the field Tuesday night, as Hendricks blew the game open early and rolled to a 53-26 win at Hendricks.
The Chargers shot just 22 percent from the field in the game and fell behind 26-11 at halftime.
Grace Woelber led WWG with nine points. Bethany Byers added five points in the loss.

Nicollet-Mankato Loyola bombed away from the outside Tuesday, hitting 10 three-pointers on its way to a 56-48 win over Mt. Lake Area at Nicollet.
The Raiders hit six three-pointers in the second half, preventing a Wolverine comeback.
Margo Stoesz and Jenneel Rodney each scored 14 points to lead MLA.
