After a dismal start to the game that saw the Eagles fall behind by 20 points, the Eagles opened the second half with a 30-4 run to defeat the Saints 62-50 at St. James.
Windom trailed by 15 at halftime but came out of the locker room red hot to start the second half. Kelsey Hanefeld scored 15 of her team-high 19 points in the second half. Jasmine Carlson scored 13 of her 17 points in the second half and Katie Kelly scored all of her 12 points after halftime.
The run prompted the Saints to take four timeouts in a three-minute span in the second half, but the Saints couldn't stop the Eagle surge offensively.
In addition to their double-digit scoring nights, Hanefeld, Carlson and Kelly each finished in double-digits rebounding. Hanefeld pulled down 16 rebounds. Carlson had 11 and Kelly recorded 10.
