Cobra wrestling to have co-head coaches next year

There will be a change at the top of the Windom-Mt. Lake wrestling program, starting in the 2013-14 season.

At last week's season-ending banquet, Cobra Coach Brad Schlomann announced that he would be pulling back on his duties somewhat by sharing the head coaching position with current Cobra assistant Nick Kulseth.

Kulseth is a 2005 Windom Area High School graduate. He is currently second on the Cobra career wins list and finished his career with three consecutive state individual championships. He wrestled collegiately at South Dakota State University before an injury ended his wrestling career.

Kulseth served as a student assistant coach his senior year at SDSU while completing his degree in parks and recreation management. After graduation, he served one year as an assistant coach at Minnesota West Community College in Worthington before returning to Windom to work. He has been an assistant coach for the Cobra program the past two seasons.
