10/20/2017 3:00:00 PM Haunted Sghoul House set for final weekend
Those hoping to take in Windom's Haunted Sghoul House, regarded as one of the best haunted houses in Minnesota, have just one weekend left to experience the fright.
Over 100 volunteers are associated the 2017 version featuring a demented storybook theme, "Once Upon a Nightmare."
This is the fourth year of the Haunted Sghoul House, located at BARC in Windom (1012 5th Ave.). The final tours of the weekend will be conducted Friday and Saturday with self-guided tours from 7 to 8:30 p.m., or 9 to 10:30 p.m. each night.
The self-guided tour is a new wrinkle in Windom's Haunted Sghoul House. Because of sold-out shows in the past, organizers have gone to self-guided tours, which are expected to last for 30 to 45 minutes, each run in two segments.
