Windom department head faces felony charge
Brent J. Brown, who is the department head for Windom's electric, street and parks departments, has been arrested on a felony charge of false imprisonment-intentional restraint.
Brown, 43, was also charged with domestic assault, a misdemeanor.
According to a complaint filed Monday morning, the charges were filed in Cottonwood County District Court. According to the complaint, Brown is accused of intentionally restraining a person without her consent. In the complaint, it was reported that Brown denied the claim.
Brown, who posted $2,000 bail, is on administrative leave, pending a decision by the Windom city council at tonight's regular meeting.
