6/27/2014 10:19:00 AM Houseman set to become new Winfair principal
The vacant principal position at Winfair Elementary School in Windom appears set to be filled.
At Monday's school board work session, the board will take action on the potential hiring of James Houseman as the new Winfair principal.
Houseman has served as PreK-6 Elementary Principal for the Kimball Area school district since 2010. Before that, he worked at the West Central Area school district in Barrett, serving as Elementary Principal for the district's two elementary schools in Elbow Lake and Kensington, as well as the district's community education coordinator.
Houseman spent 12 years as an elementary teacher, teaching third and fourth grades in the Byron school district.
Houseman would replace Wayland Denny, who resigned after two years as principal at Winfair Elementary to take a job in Carson City, Nev.
