The Windom girls high school golf team has finished in fourth place at the Minnesota State High School Tournament in Becker.
Windom had a two-day score of 740. This year's champion is Legacy, with a two-day score of 718, followed by BOLD (732) and Fillmore Central, (733).
Windom was led by Kelsey Hanefeld with an 85, followed by Maitland Vollan, 89; Leigh Hanefeld, 91; Emily Jackson, Miki Bolin and Marissa Cartwright, all with 96. That gave Windom a 361 for the day. The team is coached by Dave Eyberg and Lindsey Cartwright.
Kelsey Hanefeld finished tied for seventh with a two-day score of 172 and Abby Herding of Westbrook-Walnut Grove finished in second with a 168.
