9/27/2013 9:32:00 AM BARC's 'Party on the Lot' becomes 'Party in the Gym'
Due to an expected drop in temperatures on Saturday, Greg Warner, administrator/facilities manager at BARC, announced that the organization's "Party on the Lot" set for Saturday afternoon and evening will become a "Party in the Gym." The event has moved indoors to the BARC Gym.
With the move indoors, guests are now free to park in the back parking lot.
Everyone 21 years of age or older is invited to attend BARC's "Party in the Gym" from 3:30 to 10 p.m., Saturday. The event includes music, a beer and wine garden, yard games, live entertainment and a ribeye dinner.
The steak dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m., and includes a grilled ribeye steak, baked potato, salad and roll, all for $10.00. Beverages are sold separately.
However, those wishing to come for the music and games, can do so at no charge and pay only for the beverages they wish.
Both recorded and live music will be provided from 3:30 to 10 p.m. The live music schedule includes:
3:30-5 p.m. -- Jim Austerman performign a variety of music. 5:30-6 p.m. -- BARC Community Band. 7-9:30 p.m. -- Cold Brew, performing classic rock and country.
Saturday's party is a fund-raiser to help BARC with the building's winter heating expenses.
