Tegels Park to re-open late this afternoon

Tegel's Park at Cottonwood Lake will re-open to the public late this afternoon, following a new asphalt overlay repair project.

"We are concerned about speeding in the park due to the smooth road surface so the park has been posted 10 mph maximum speed as stated in the City Code for Park Ordinances," said Bruce Caldwell, Windom street superintendent. "This speed limit will be highly enforced by our local police and park staff. Drive slow in all the city parks and watch for kids playing."
