6/27/2013 2:17:00 PM Johnson's Meat Market to open today in Windom
When Johnson's Meat Market opens July 2 in Windom, owners Dustin and Nicole Johnson believe customers will instantly see the focus: "quality, cleanliness and customer service."
The business has flourished in St. James for more than 10 years and is now expanding to Nicole's home town of Windom. Johnson's Meat Market is located on Highway 60-71, across from Dairy Queen.
Dustin said that in St. James Johnson's Meat Market's customer service focus allows the business to successfully competes with two grocery stores and another nearby meat market.
"We have to stress quality and customer service," Dustin said. "If people don't like you, they are not going to shop there. Cleanliness is also very important. That is one of my big things with food."
Johnson's Meat Market will bring all of its successful items to Windom, including the half-pounder ground sirloin burgers, smoked bacon, 16 varieties of beef sticks, five varieties of summer sausage, the old-fashioned skin on hot dogs and much more.
The business will be open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For much more on this story, see the July 3 Cottonwood County Citizen and Citizen eEdition.
