Red Rock water agreement
A water agreement with Red Rock Rural Water will likely be fine-tuned at Tuesday's regular meeting of the Windom city council.
The pact is part of a larger project that involves construction of water lines and future water sales. In order to keep track of water sales, Windom needs a new water meter site at the south edge of town.
The agreement calls for Windom to pay Red Rock Rural Water $30,000 to build the structure. However, Windom will be deemed the owner of the structure.
