WAHS moves Pops Concert to May 14

It will be a night of music May 14 when the Windom Area Middle High School music department hosts not one, but now two, concerts that evening.

The Windom Area Middle School concert for grades 5-8 was already scheduled for that evening, starting at 6:30 p.m. That concert and start-time remains in tact.

However, WAHS Band Director Eugene Hanchett and Choir Director Rachel Axford have now decided to move the annual high school Pops Concert to the same evening, May 14.

However, the Pops Concert will begin at 8 p.m.

No admission will be charged at either concert.

Hanchett said Monday that they have not decided whether to hold the concerts in the Gold Gym or Blue Gym, but will make that decision later this week.

Further details on the two concerts will be included in next week's Citizen.
