Jaws of Life used to rescue child from tree
The Jaws of Life were used, Saturday night, to rescue a Windom child from a tree.
According to the Windom Police Department, at 6:11 p.m. on Saturday authorities learned that an 8-year-old Windom boy was caught in a tree trunk.
Rescue workers from the Windom Fire Department and Windom Ambulance Squad, were called to the 900 block of Prospect Ave.
The rescue team used the Jaws of Life to pry apart the tree trunk, freeing the boy. He was later taken to Windom Area Hospital for treatment.
No information about the boy's injuries were available from the Windom Police Department.
