3/20/2013 8:16:00 AM Morgan, Stoddard team
for Prairie Wind concert
Fans of the Prairie Wind Folk Music and Bluegrass Association will get a double helping of great music Saturday night when Butch Morgan and David Stoddard team up at the Carson Meeting House in Delft.
The concert is at 7:30 p.m.
Advance tickets are available at Hy-Vee. Tickets will be more at the door.
According to Prairie Wind president Bruce Boldt, Morgan brings a little comedy to his show, but also shares several Christian songs among his repertoire.
"He's a character," Boldt says.
Able to hold any audience with his true-to-life songs, stories and sense of humor, Morgan is a top notch entertainer who gives his best every gig.
Windom concert-goers will get a second treat in this concert as Boldt has lined up popular accompanist David Stoddard to back up Morgan.Stoddard, who hails from Fergus Falls and plays accordian and piano, has given two previous shows in Windom to rave reviews.
This won't be Stoddard's first time appearing with Morgan, who plays both accoustic and electric guitar. He also has accompanied Morgan on other occasions.
"This will probably be the best variety show that we've ever had," Boldt says. "We received some special donations to bring in David Stoddard."
