2/22/2013 11:53:00 AM Wormstadt not a finalist for Chisago Lakes job
It appears that Windom Superintendent Wayne Wormstadt will be remaining in Windom for the immediate future.
Wormstadt confirmed to the Citizen today that he was not selected as a finalist for the vacant superintendent position in the Chisago Lakes school district.
Wormstadt was one of eight semifinalists who interviewed for the position earlier this week.
"It was an opportunity for my family, but at the same time we are very happy to be where we're at," Wormstadt said. "This is the only application I've put out in five years. We enjoy being in Windom and I'm looking forward to continuing the work that is being done in the Windom school district."
