Iowa engineer accepts Cottonwood County position

JinYeene Neumann of Iowa County in Iowa has accepted the Cottonwood County engineer position.

Neuman, who was interviewed for the job late last week, took the position via e-mail yesterday, according to Cottonwood County officials. Her start date has not yet been identified.

Neumann is a native of Hibbing and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in civil engineering. She has served as the county engineer in Iowa County since April of 2007.

She previously worked as an assistant county engineer in Johnson County (Iowa) for eight years.
