12/12/2012 8:05:00 AM American Lutheran Church's 'Living Nativity' is tonight
American Lutheran Church of Windom will hold its annual Living Nativity tonight (Wednesday) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the church, located at 906 Prospect Ave., in Windom.
The Living Nativity has become a staple of the holiday season at American Lutheran and in Windom.
Those wishing to view the nativity are reminded that they may do so by either walking past the manger scene or driving past the scene by turning south onto Prospect Ave., from 10th St. The nativity will once again include live animals and actors.
Guests will be able to pet the animals (found inside and outside) and take horse-drawn carriage rides during the evening.
In the Skylight Court, guests can listen to music of the Christmas season, purchase items at the ALC Youth Holiday Bake Sale and enjoy free cider and popcorn.
Those attending are encouraged to bring food items or cash donations for the Sharing Center.
In addition to the Living Nativity, American Lutheran youth will serve a soup and chili supper in the fellowship hall from 5 to 7 p.m., for a suggested donation of $5.
