Windom Knowledge Bowl team earns fourth straight win at JCC

Windom's junior high Knowledge Bowl team keeps on rolling.

Monday night they went to the Jackson County Central Invitational and took top honors again, easily outpointing runner-up and host JCC. Windom finished with 63 points to JCC's 45.5 points.

Fifteen teams from five schools participated in the meet.
The team of Joseph Arends, Katie Kelly, Natalie Resch and Nate White finished with rounds of 23, 22 and 15 points to take the invitational title.

Meanwhile, Windom 3 of Liam Kelly, Kelly Hayenga, Noah Kloss, Dakota Scott and Emily White finished sixth with 34 points, just a point ahead of Windom 2 of Jae Carlson, Sammy Bernal, Sydney Erickson and Morgan Wilder, who placed seventh with 33 points.

Windom wraps up the invitational season on Nov. 26, when they travel to the Murray County Central Invitational in Slayton.
