The Windom Area school board will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Room 121 of the Middle/High School.
On the agenda, the board will hear a presentation from High School Principal Lance Northey on data from the MCA testing.
The board will also hear a presentation from Supt. Wayne Wormstadt on the district's proposed participation in a multi-district application for the federal Race to the Top grant program.
The board will approve an assurance of compliance with state and federal law prohibiting discrimination.
The board will approve donations of classroom supplies from Hy-Vee, a donation of $2,500 from Shopko Hometown and a donation of Plyo-boxes from Mike Nesseth and the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball organization.
On the consent agenda, the board will: Approve contracts with the district's administrators; approve a paraprofessional resignation; approve lane changes for teaching staff; approve an increase in teaching time for a staff member; approve additional para time for two district paraprofessionals; approve an updated list of activity and coaching assignments; and declare the old Island Park scoreboard as obsolete and donate it to the Baseball Association with proceeds to be split between baseball and softball.
