Fall musical takes stage next week

The Windom Area High School fall musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, will take the stage next week.

Performances will be held Nov. 15-17 at 7 p.m., with an additional 2 p.m. matinee performance Nov. 17. The performance will be held at the Windom Area High School Lecture Hall Theater.

Tickets remain on sale at the WAHS office for $7 per seat. All seats are reserved.

The show, set in the 1960s, focuses on Pierrepont Finch, portrayed by Eli Yackel-Juleen. Finch is a young, ambitious window washer who, with the help of a book, rises to be chairman of the board for the World Wide Wicket Company. Helping him along the way is secretary Rosemary Pilkington, portrayed by Emily Axford.

The show is directed by Rachel Axford with assistant director and accompanist Eugene Hanchett. Jamie Thiessen is the music assistant with student directors Nolan Jones and Michaela Hacker. The cast includes 27 student actors and actresses and two additional crew members.

To reserve tickets, contact the Windom Area High School office at 831-6910.
